Terms of Service
Last updated: July 28, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Teserro (the "Service"), operated by Teserro ("Teserro," "we," "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organization you represent.
1. The Service
Teserro lets an organization's Google Workspace users create password-protected, expiring, trackable links to files stored in Google Drive Shared Drives that a Workspace administrator has approved. Teserro does not copy, move, or store the underlying files — it only stores the metadata needed to enforce access controls (titles, expiration dates, passwords, and access logs) and reads files directly from Google Drive with read-only access at the time a link is opened.
2. Accounts and access
- Access to the Service is via Google Sign-In, scoped to your organization's Google Workspace domain (a "tenant").
- Your organization's administrator controls which Shared Drives are approved for sharing, and which users have access to the Service.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the content you share and for complying with your own organization's policies when using the Service.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to share content you don't have the right to share, or that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.
- Attempt to circumvent a link's password, expiration, or access controls other than as the link's intended recipient.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other tenants' data, or the infrastructure it runs on.
- Use the Service in a way that could disable, overburden, or impair it (e.g. automated scraping or excessive request volume).
4. Your content
You retain all rights to the files you share through the Service — they remain in your Google Drive at all times. You're solely responsible for the content of what you share and for having the necessary rights and permissions to share it, including with any external recipients.
5. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service at any time, and will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes in advance.
6. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any account or tenant that violates these Terms, poses a security risk, or as required by law. Your organization's administrator may deactivate individual users or the tenant's access at any time.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Teserro will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
